First day involved digging up part of basement floor to remove broken clay pipe and replace it with PVC. The two crewmen finished in about 6 hours. They weren't very talkative, didn't ask if we had any questions or concerns. We would have liked to be informed from time to time of how things were going etc. Around 4 pm the were out at their van arguing and then suddenly they drove off. We had no idea they were done. Didn't ask us to come down and take a look or explain anything. The second day was much better. Had some weeping tiles and a sump pump installed. We weren't really sure we needed it but went ahead at the urging of Vince. This work was done by Oleg. He was pleasant, showed us the process and asked if we had any questions or concerns. He checked with us before he moved on to each step which made us feel involved and comfortable. When he was done he invited us down to the basement to go over what had been done. He explained how the sump pump and weeping tiles work. He noted that he didn't see any water and all was dry which again triggered our gut feeling that we probably didn't need it but it's done now and will be there for the future, even though we'd never had water in the basement in 25 years. There is still a slight sewer smell after a week so we hope that will be completely gone by the end of the week.

Prompt, courteous and knowledgeable. They arrived on time so there was no waiting. Came in and quickly assessed the problem. Provided some excellent fastback on how I might avert the same problem in the future. Great service will recommend them to anyone needing a plumbing issue resolved.

Update September 3 - The company reached out to me and apologized for the inconvenience. They reassured me that the service I received is not typical of their technicians and the issue has been remedied. I have updated my review to 4 stars as the service in responding to my complaint was appreciated. —————————- While the customer service in terms of responding to our call and dispatching someone to our home was great, I am sorry to say I would not recommend this company if you have a plumbing issue. We had a clogged drain and had tried all the conventional ways of fixing it (draino, plunging and a manual cable auger). We called Drain Rescue because we didn't know what else to do. They charged us a $45 fee just to come provide a quote (many other companies, I learned after the fact, do not charge a fee at all). Without even spending time looking at the pipes themselves, they then told us they recommended a drain flush, which would cost $1250! Thankfully, we did not pursue this as it seemed outrageous. We later learned that most companies can use a cable auger (with a machine) and have the problem cleared - they also said they never recommend a drain flush unless its absolutely necessary. The cost for this is around $250-300 depending on the drain. We did this with another company and the issue was solved - drain fixed! I do not recommend this company. Save your money!

Vince was a solid cat, clearly explained what happened and what needs to happen next. Would highly recommend giving these guys a call! Ask for Vince he’s the man!
