What To Do Before Your Sewer Plumber Arrives

Your safety comes first, especially during a plumbing emergency. These simple steps help us provide professional service safely and efficiently, especially during high-stakes emergency plumbing calls.

While waiting for our licensed technician to arrive, here’s what we recommend:

Stop using all water immediately.

Do not flush toilets or run sinks, as this will cause more backup into your basement.

Avoid contact with sewage.

Raw sewage contains harmful bacteria. Keep children and pets away from the affected area.

Clear the area around the clean-out.

If you have a sewer clean-out pipe, ensure our plumbers have clear access to it.

First time ever having to call a plumber. Such a great experience with this company, right from the get go, such friendly staff and understood my urgency on the matter, and was able to get someone to come that day. The gentleman that came, was very polite, showed up basically at the beginning of my 2 hour window, and placed boot covers on his shoes prior to walking on my floors. We talked about what the issue was and from there he provided the best case case scenario but he also informed me of potential worst case issues that could come up after. He let me decide what I wanted to do and then showed me the pricing prior to doing or even agreeing to any work. I then got a follow up call to ensure that I was happy with the service. This is how home service should be handled! Such care and concern taken for customer's homes and needs. Well done!

Response from the owner:Thank you, Stephanie! We appreciate your kind words and are glad to hear you had a positive experience with our team at Drain Rescue Plumbers.
